The Master programme course introduces grammar structures of the German language. The first part of the seminars and lectures folows the linguistic disciplines of the Bachelor progamme (morphology, syntax, lexicology) and deals with theoretical and conceptual background for the description of morphology and syntax of present German, based on Mathesius? model of functional grammar. The second part concentrates on functional characteristics of grammar elements with the focus on grammar and semantic case. Apart from the traditional structuralist approach ?language as a system? the subject structure is based also on morphology, syntax, pragmatics and text linguistics.

Cílem předmětu je zprostředkovat studentům magisterského studia germanistiky vhled do gramatických struktur německého jazyka a vytvořit tak teoretickou bázi pro bezpečné zvládnutí mluvnické stavby současné standardní němčiny. První část seminářů navazuje na lingvistické disciplíny bakalářského studia (morfologie, syntax, lexikologie) a je věnována teoretickým a koncepčním podkladům pro popis morfologie a syntaxe současné spisovné němčiny. Pozornost se soustředí na základní otázky funkčně-strukturálního popisu věty a na fungování slovních tvarů ve větě a v textu. Druhá část se soustředí na funkční vlastnosti gramatických prostředků s akcentem na německé funkce pádu, pád gramatický a pád sémantický. V centru pozornosti druhé části seminářů jsou synsémantika s důrazem na modální partikule jako interferenční jev. Kromě tradičního strukturalistického přístupu vychází koncepce předmětu i z pragmatiky a textové lingvistiky. Cílem seminářů je aplikovat teoretické poznatky na vybraných textech, tj. schopnost zužitkovat teoretické znalosti i v praxi.
