The subject has orientation and motivation functions. In the course students visit various institutions: Primary school (Pre-primary, Primary and Lower-secondary level as well as School children's centre), different types of Secondary schools, Children and youth centre, Low threshold activity centre and Leisure time institution. The course is concluded with a reflective seminar.

The aim of the subject is to motivate students to follow on their Master studies. By means of joint visits students acquire knowledge of real conditions of basic professions they will be prepared for during their future studies.
