Subject of this course are theoretical questions of quality of life in perspective of health with the aim at adult and elderly people. Quality of life is presented here as a fundamental category for judging the effectiveness of medical and social services, as well as pedagogical influence on adult population. Special focus is given to selected socio-gerontological topics so that possibilities and contributions of upbringing and elderly education are suggested.

Obsahem kurzu jsou teoretické otázky kvality života vztažené ke zdraví, a to se zaměřením na dospělé a staré osoby. Kvalita života je zde prezentována jako zásadní kategorie pro posouzení efektivity zdravotních a sociálních služeb, ale i pedagogického působení na dospělou populaci. Zvláštní pozornost je věnována vybraným sociálně gerontologickým a gerontagogickým tématům tak, aby byly naznačeny možnosti a přínosy výchovy a vzdělávání stárnoucích a starých lidí.
