The course provides special education students with space to practice their teaching skills in developing programs aimed at health promotion of pupils with special educational needs. It presents specific suggestions for integrating the 'Human and health' topics into education (right nutritional habits, prevention of addictive behavior, providing first aid), procedures of creating health promoting school projects, incl. programs of risk behavior prevention of pupils.

The aim of the course is to provide students of special needs education with a deeper insight into the theoretical didactic foundations of Education towards healthy lifestyle with focus on pupils with special educational needs and develop their skills to practice health education
