Having completed courses of the second cycle of studies, students take part in specialist excursions in health social institutions providing specialist help (in particular to children and young people). These institutions are state-owned (established by Ministry of Education, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs or by regions) and private (centers of crisis intervention, etc.)

Návštěva zařízení je dle rozvrhu naplánována až na druhou polovinu semestru. Dle epidemiologické situace bude upřesněna forma výuky, popř. její kombinace (fyzická účast, on-line výuka a průběžné plnění úkolů).
