The course follows the philosophical discourse concerning the substantiation of social, moral and political interpersonal relations realized by means of norms, rules, laws and juridical structure. Besides the explication of crucial categories in the field of philosophy of law, the course covers also the issues of constructivist and evolutionist concept of order, the sources of rules, the relation between morality and law, normative systems of society, and the interpretation of following theses: Ubi societa, ibi ius; Omnis definitio in iure civili periculosa; and Hegel's Whatever is reasonable is true, and whatever is true is reasonable. The aim of the course is to enhance the knowledge of students in the field of social-scientific and civil essentials and to develop the ability of understanding and using descriptively mediated pieces of knowledge (concerning ethics, law, state and civil society) in a wider context.
