Cílem kurzu je prohloubení znalostí v problematice spisovné normované výslovnosti německého jazyka. Seminář navazuje na obsah předmětu Fonetika a fonologie I a II s tím, že hlavní činností v seminářích je praktický nácvik standardní spisovné výslovnosti německého jazyka. Pozornost je věnována stylistickým a regionálním variantám výslovnosti německého jazyka. Výslovnost studentů je korigována pomocí nahrávek rodilých mluvčích a také pomocí nahrávek vlastního ústního projevu.
