In the lecture I concentrate on questions of assertion and manipulation in education. In connection with contemporary efforts to make some changes in schools there´s a discussion in pedagogical and psychological theory and practice about problems of assertion and manipulation , freedom and responsibility. The terms assertion and manipulation are also in coherence with such expressions as discipline, power, freedom, responsibility, morality, law, duty, tolerance, rule, fear.
