Course target is to give to the students the teoretical basis they can use in understanding and solving educational situations, which they meet in the module and at the beginning of their regular teaching. Students shall gain knowledge and skills concerning: Various teaching methods and their possibilities and limits, instructional planning and design, links between the basic elements of instruction, teaching profession, things that have influence on it, individual approach of teaching, professional skills, relationship between the teacher and the pupil in GES, functions of evaluation in GES and school work and legislative standards involving school.

Cílem kurzu je poskytnout studentům teoretická východiska pro pochopení a řešení výchovně vzdělávacích situací, se kterými se setkají na KLS, oborové praxi a při svém nástupu na školu po ukončení studia. Studenti získají základní vědomosti o různých pojetích výuky a podrobnějších charakteristikách některých z nich, o vybraných koncepcích vyučování a jejich možnostech a mezích, o projektování na různých úrovních obecnosti, o vztazích mezi základními strukturními prvky VVP, o učitelské profesi a faktorech, které ji ovlivňují, o individuálním pojetí výuky a profesních dovednostech, o roli žáka ve VVP, interakci mezi ním a učitelem, o funkci hodnocení ve VVP a práci školy a legislativních normách ovlivňujících práci školy.
