The course focuses on the questions of political science from the most recent history and presence (19th and 20th century). Conservatism, liberalism and socialism are analyzed as well as the main ideas of same of the most important political philosophers: H.Arendt, R.Aron, K.Popper ect. Selected text are read and discussed during the seminar.

Kurz seznamuje se základními otázkami z dějin evropského sociálně politického Teoretického myšlení od antiky po 18. století. Podrobně se věnuje názorům těch myslitelů, kteří nejvíce ovlivnili myšlení své doby a zejména myšlení následujících. V seminářích se rozebírají ukázky konkrétních textů.
