This seminar is reading-based and deals with a wide selection of texts written by the most prominent contemporary British writers (Martin Amis, Ian McEwan, Julian Barnes, Graham Swift, Jeanette Winterson, Salman Rushdie, Kazuo Ishiguro, A.S. Byatt, John Banville) with respect to modern literary theories. Course requirement: an essay (1000 words).
