This subject guides students who are beginning research on issues relating to foreign language teaching and English language acquisition. Students learn to seek and identify problems, they learn to devise and plan their own project and to survey and use the literature. They evaluate received knowledge relevant to the project and present their findings.

Předmět uvádí studenty do výzkumu v oblasti cizojazyčného vyučování a osvojování anglického jazyka. Studenti se učí problémy mapovat a formulovat, učí se koncipovat a plánovat vlastní projekt, zkoumat a využívat odbornou literaturu. Vytvářejí informační bázi projektu, prezentují dosažené výsledky.
