This is a follow-up course to Syntax I. It deals mainly with subject clauses, adverbial clauses of concession, manner and relative clauses and infinitive constructions. The issue is viewed from the comparative point of view. The course also focuses on negation in German, breaking the sentence structure and punctuation in German sentences. The correct application of sentence structure principles is practiced in seminars. Compared to the curriculum applicable to the students of teaching German at secondary and junior schools, the theoretical part is more concise and adjusted to the needs of primary schools.
