Mechanics of fluids Characteristics of liquids and gases. Balance of fluids, hydrostatic pressure, Pascal law, Archimedes' law. Flow of ideal fluids, continuity equation, Bernoulli's equation. Hydrostatic and hydrodynamic paradoxon. Viscosity. Currents of viscosity liquids, Poiseuill's law. Laminar and turbulent flow. Stokes' law. Capillarity effects, surface tension.

Mechanics of gases. Atmospheric pressure. Gas cover of Earth. Archimedes law for gases. Basics of aviation.

Harmonic motion. Simple harmonic motion, motion equation and its solution. Vibration damped, forced and coupled. Resonance. Aperiodic damped motion. Composed vibrations, principle of superposition. Harmonic analysis of periodic vibration.

Mechanical waves. Wave equation. Transversal and longitudinal waves. Front and standing waves. Doppler's effect. Waves in solids. Surface waves. Huygens´ principle. Refraction, reflection and interference waves.

Sound. Sound waves spread in, gases, liquids and solids. Measuring of sound velocity. Sound perception. Music instruments. Loudness of a sound and it influence on human body effect. Sound transfer, recording and reproduction.
