Students will study methods of connection PC to the physical experiment from simplest possibilities to the on-line controlling. Based on knowledge of PC architecture, different kind of PC-buses, addressing methods of input/output devices the standard input/output interfaces, including the prototype boards are discussed.

Podmínkou udělení klasifikovaného zápočtu je absolvování teoretického úvodu, změření předepsaného počtu úloh a vypracování zápisů z měření.

Povaha kontroly studia předmětu vylučuje opravné termíny zápočtu.

Different kinds and properties of standard interfaces, parallel and serial port, USB port, PS2 port, kinds and possibilities of the prototype boards. ISA bus and its data, address and control parts. Addressing and the bi-directional transfer of data to the input-output devices. The HPIB-bus prototype board and its communication with the measuring system. A/D and D/A prototype board, addressing board and their program control. Application of I2C bus.
