The lecture is continuous with OFY027 and it represents the standard course of quantum theory (QT) giving its necessary knowledge for the students having an interest first and foremost in the experimental physics. It is the reduced alternative to the two-semestral course OFY045, OFY046.

The formal structure of QT. Some simple applications. The theory of representations. Angular momentum. Spin. The motion in the central field. The approximate methods in QT. The motion in the electric and magnetic fields. Many particle systems. The adiabatic approximation. Bosons and fermions. The one-particle approximation. The second quantization. The interaction of the system with the electromagnetic field.
