The course extends the participant's English skills within the field of computing. The course includes discussions,
lexis, grammar (mainly syntax) and writing exercises, and student presentations on computing topics. The course
is included in the credit system of the Faculty. Enrollment in this course is limited. A minimum level of upper-
intermediate English is required to participate. The course is recommended primarily for students from the
second year of their study.

Zvláštnosti anglického odborného jazyka z hlediska gramatického, lexikálního a stylistického s přihlédnutím k
danému oboru. Součástí náplně kurzu jsou gramatická (zejména anglická syntax) a lexikální cvičení, rozvoj
psaného projevu, četné diskuze a prezentace studentů. Kurz je zařazen do bodového systému fakulty. Zápis tohoto
předmětu je z kapacitních důvodů omezen. Minimální úroveň angličtiny požadovaná pro tento kurz je "upper-
intermediate". Předmět se doporučuje zejména studentům od 2. ročníku výše.

To meet the requirements it is necessary to participate in class regularly, actively work in the classroom and fulfill all homework assignments. The nature of the subject's examination excludes the repetition of such examination.

Pro splnění požadavků je nutná pravidelná účast na cvičení, aktivní práce ve výuce a plnění průběžně zadávaných úkolů. Povaha kontroly studia předmětu vylučuje opakování této kontroly.
