FPL127 Metallic crystals: Crystalline and electronic structure, anisotropic properties.

Methods of bulk crystals growth (melt growth, flux growing, recrystallization in solid state).

Critical parameters of crystal growth, purification.

Structural and phase identification of crystals (diffraction techniques, microprobe).

Bulk and microscopic methods of study of single crystals (magnetic, dilatometric, transport, magneto-caloric, magneto-striction and magneto-transport methods, neutron diffraction).
