The dominant part of education of informatics on secodary school is a teaching of application software. This is loaded with many traps for a teacher. He/she has to deal with different level of both motivation and knowledge of students, he must to select the appropriate volume of technical details and needs to teach students how to effectively use computer for a lot of different tasks. Topic of the seminary is to prepare students for teaching of application software both with knowledges and practically.

Dominantní složkou výuky informatiky na středních školách je výuka uživatelského software. Tato výuka skrývá pro učitele mnohá úskalí. Musí se umět vyrovnat s velmi rozdílnou úrovni motivace i vědomostí studentů, nezahltit studenty množství technických detailů a přitom je naučit efektivně použít počítače k celé řadě úkolů. Cílem předmětu je připravit studenty na výuku uživatelského software jak po stránce znalostí a metodiky, tak i prakticky.
