Seminar for pre-service teachers (higher classes). In the seminar students design a frontal and demonstration experiments, prepare a methodological materials and tools for doing these experiments.

Syllabus -

1. mechanics - experiments from kinematics, velocity measurements, demonstration of Newton´s laws, torque, moment of inertia, conservation of mechanical energy, the law of conservation of momentum, pendulums.

2. acoustics - sound velocity measurements, resonance, musical instruments, acoustic measurements using the sound card

3. thermodynamics - thermometers, heat capacities, phase transformations, heat transport, heat machines

4. properties of gasses and liquids - density, equation of state, hydraulic, flow of fluids, Archimedes law, Pascal law, Bernoulli equation
