Lecture is focused on practical aspects of optical spectroscopy, in particular on measurement of 2D electronic spectra. Participants should acquire knowledge and skills needed to perform 2DES experiment. The lecture creates an opportunity to use basic optics knowledge in practice and at the same time gain insight into a non-trivial spectroscopic experiment. Participants will work with a unique apparatus for measuring 2DES spectra.
Course completion requirements -
Last update: Mgr. Jan Alster, Ph.D. (26.03.2018)

Course completion requires obtaining course credit and passing oral examination. Course credit is awarded for unaided performing of 2DES experiment and submitting a protocol in the form common for Practical Course in Physics. Course credit test can be repeated, however, students without sufficient background in lab safety will not be admitted for the test. Therefore sufficient attendance in classes is required too.
