The lecture gives an introduction of computer control of experiment using Python programming language. The lecture is designed for complete beginners with basic programming skills as only prerequisite.

Course is completed by acquiring graded course credit. Students will be tasked with creating a computer program (typically performing comunication with and/or control of experimental hardware). Functionality, documentation and implementation will be evaluated for course credit. Course credit evaluation can be repeated.
