1. Úvod - pracovní definice regionální a sociální geografie, pojem paradigmatický směr (paradigma, disciplinární matice, idiografické a nomotetické přístupy, vztahy věda-společnost-příroda)

2. Školy regionální geografie (francouzská, německá, anglosaská a skandinávská škola)

3. První poválečný nomotetický přístup (prostorová věda, "kvantitativní revoluce")

4. Přístup behaviorální geografie

5. Přístup sociální ekologie

6. Institucionální přístupy

7. Marxistický přístup

8. Přístupy geografie času a strukturační teorie

9. Přístup kritického realismu

10. Postmoderní přístupy

11. Závěr: multiparadigmatický vývoj socální geografie

Podmínky pro zápis: bakalářská zkouška.
