Optional course. This is an interdisciplinary course applying approaches Geography, Sociology, Religion Studies and Theology. Since of the fall of the "Iron Curtain" the population in Central and Eastern Europe has come into contact with thinking from the other side of the "wall". This course studies the theological influence on the Czech and the world's society. The very important part of the lecture will be to define the interactions between geographical and religious influence. Each issue will be solved on the modelling area (e.g. Utah/USA or Austria). For each course one of the students will prepare a paper and after the presentation the discussion about this topic follows.

MZ340P922 Religiózní geografie

Ročník voliteln. semestr zimní i letní 30 hodin / semestr

RNDr. Tomáš Havlíček, Ph.D.

Pracoviště č. 340
katedra sociální geografie a regionálního rozvoje

Volitelná přednáška. Cílem přednášky je především bližší seznámení s fenoménem relígií v prostoru, resp. začlenění geografie náboženství (religiózní geografie) do systému věd. Hlavní důraz bude kladen na problémové sféry. Dojde také k vyjmenování základních charakteristik a pojmů jednotlivých náboženství a to vždy v širších geografických souvislostech. Důležitou součástí předmětu je také pokus o definici některých oblastí interakce náboženství a prostředí (např. religiózní krajiny, vztah náboženství a státu, náboženské konflikty, ekumenismus atd.). Každé téma bude analyzováno na konkrétní modelové oblasti. Studenti participují na předmětu referátem na vybrané téma, rozborem zahraniční literatury i diskuzí.
Stručný program:
1. Co je religiózní geografie? Přehled literatury. Interakce náboženství/geografie.
2. Náboženství (vznik, vývoj, systém atd.). Historický vývoj religiózní geografie.
3. Prostorové modely a teorie v náboženství a v religiózní geografii (příkladové studie určitého území).
4. Náboženství a přírodní sféra. Religiózní krajina.
5. Relígie a politika. Náboženské konflikty. Vztah státu a církve.
6. Socioekonomické souvislosti vývoje náboženství. (migrace, etnicita, religiozita, ekumenismus).
7. Poutní cesty a posvátná místa.
8. Religiózní identita.

9. Nové náboženské směry, alternativní spirituality (okultismus), nové chrámy postmoderny

10. Post-sekularismus, deinstitucionalismus, pluralismus ve vztahu k náboženství
