Optional course. The course deals with the tourism in the world using geographical approach to its analyzing. The questions of: theory and methodology; historical development; position in the world economy; conditions of location, selection and realization; organization and technical frame are discussed in the first part of the course. Tourism according to the individual world regions or forms of tourism create content of lectures in the second part of the course: Europe; Mediterranean region as an example of the seaside tourism; Alps as a model region of the mountain tourism; Italy as an example of the culture-oriented tourism; northwestern, central, northern and eastern Europe; Asia (particularly southeastern and eastern Asia, India, Izrael and Turkey); America and the space of both Atlantic and Pacific Oceans; Africa, Australia and New Zeeland and the space of the Indian Ocean.
