This course deals with 2 main topics. The first part of the course is devoted to elaboration of implications of main subjects for regional development (e.g. TNC, FDI, banks, SMEs, RDAs). The second part of the block is devoted to regional policy especially of the EU, and deals with practical problems connected with elaboration of regional development strategies or with design of state regional policy. Including issues like evaluation, monitoring, etc.

This course deals with 2 main topics. The first part of the course is devoted to elaboration of implications of main subjects for regional development (e.g. TNC, FDI, banks, SMEs, RDAs) and several other topics like transport and regional development or implications of firms of progressive tertiary sector for regional development. The second part of the block is devoted to Czech regional policy but especially to the EU cohesion policy and deals with both conceptual and practical problems connected with elaboration of regional development strategies or with design of state regional policy. Including issues like evaluation (ex ante, interim, ex -post, SEA, monitoring indicators and systems etc.).
