The course is intended to deepen the students' knowledge of climatology and hydrology and that through an active form. At the beginning of the semester, students are offered topical themes to elaborate on in papers on climatology and hydrology. Papers not longer than 10 pages are then presented during the seminar, presentation may be accompanied by samples, slides, etc., according to the decision of the student. Presentation is followed by discussion.
- The great majority of themes are elaborated by students on the basis of the studied literature and other materials they find themselves or the teacher recommends to them. The choice of literature varies according to the individual themes and is very large. Emphasis is put upon using foreign literature.

Seminář je zaměřený na aktivní prohloubení znalostí studentů v oborech klimatologie a hydrologie. V úvodu semestru jsou zadávána ke zpracování konkrétní témata z okruhu klimatologie nebo hydrologie, jež jsou následně na jednotlivých seminářích prezentována studenty. Seminární práce v rozsahu řádově 10 stran, doplněná praktickými příklady, obrázky apod. Po vystoupení studentů následuje diskuse.
