• Historická geografie: vývoj myšlení v historické geografii - obecná historická geografie a historická geografie Česka - vývoj geografické organizace státu, obecné a specifické vývojové procesy, historickogeografické přístupy v geografii (zdroje, metody, výstupy).
• Kulturní geografie: vývoj myšlení v kulturní geografii - "nová" kulturní geografie - socio-kulturní diferenciace světa a státu a její vývoj - kulturní znaky - kulturní oblasti a regiony, kulturní hranice - multikulturalismus - střet civilizací - regionální identita (vztah k formování regionů a regionálnímu rozvoji) - kulturní politika - dědictví.
• Religiózní geografie: vývoj myšlení v religiózní geografii - diferenciace světa a Česka, světová náboženství (vznik, vývoj, systém atd.) - interakce náboženství-geografie (náboženství a přírodní i socioekonomická sféra) - prostorové modely a teorie v religiózní geografii - dynamické změny v náboženstvích (migrace, etnicita, religiozita) - religiózní krajina - "nová" religiózní geografie.
