In this course go through following things: Physical and Chemical Characteristics of Uranium (and Thorium), Uranium Geochemistry, Migration and Precipitation of Uranium, Distribution of Uranium in Earth Crust, Uranium in Minerals, Processes of Uranium Deposit Genesis, Uranium Deposits Classification, Models of World Uranium Deposits, Examples and its Characteristics, World Uranium Market, Sources of Uranium in Czech, Uranium Exploration, Resources Classification, Uranium Deposits Evaluation, Uranium Milling. During lectures are show of ore samples from Radioactive Collection. A component of course is excursion to operation plant.

Výuka probíhá s ohledem na epidemickou situaci a nařízení hygienické stanice hl. m. Prahy a MŠMT.

1. Physical and chemical properties of uranium, migration and precipitation.

2. Distribution of U and Th in Earth crust, rock and minerals.

3. Genetic principles of deposit formations, classification principles.

4. Uranium deposit types, expamles ower the World.

5. World uranium market, and Czech resources.

6. Priciples of uranium exploration, reseres classification and uranium miling.

 

The field excursion is organised in the some active plant, on the end of semester.


The course is completed by an exam.
