A course intended for students of organic chemistry (4th year), before they start their diploma works. Deals with multistep syntheses of organic compounds, separation and purification of intermediates and products using chromatography methods, identification of the compounds using instrumental methods (NMR, MS,..).
Usage of databases and programs useful for synthetic chemists (Beilstein
Crossfire, ACD Labs NMR simulation programs) is also beeing trained.
