This lecture deals with the modern methods of protein research. It focuses on structural and affinity proteomics, including methods of chemical cross-linking, oxidative labelling, hydrogen/deuterium exchange and native mass spectrometry. It is also explained how to further process the data using bioinformatic approaches and build or correct structural protein models.
Lectures, student's presentations and essay (exam) are in English. Course is open only if 5 or more students are subscribed and are planning to actively participate in the lectures.
