In these lectures we will deal with decontamination technologies that use them to remove contaminants from the soil, water and air of living organisms. We will deal with the mechanism of contaminants uptake, their metabolism in the organism and the impact of contaminants on living organisms. Last but not least, the possibility of using these processes in practical applications on real contaminated areas will be discussed.
