Teaching practice I takes place as one block for one primary school or lower level of a multi-year grammar school and usually lasts 4 weeks. During the internship at the school, the student works under the guidance of a faculty teacher. He teaches 8 teaching hours of biology, teaches 24 teaching hours, 4 hours of practical exercises and 1 field trip. Of these, 9 lessons can be implemented in the form of teaching support or tandem teaching in cooperation with the faculty teacher.In the case of distance learning, the student assists the faculty teacher with the preparation and implementation of online teaching, including assessment.

In addition to registering the subject in the SIS, it is necessary to register for the internship by January 15 (for internship in the summer semester) or by
June 15 (for practice in the winter semester) via the Google Docs login table shared by dr. Jelen. Detailed information can be found in Google Classroom.

CREDIT REQUIREMENTS

- Attendance at briefing meeting (before internships), reflection meeting (after internships) and credit meeting (In case of distance learning, meetings will be conducted online via Google Meet)

- timely submission of the schedule (sending to Irena Chlebounová) and compliance with the rules for observation of KUDBi didactics

- submission of form A + B, C, 2x examination record (from the beginning and from the end of the internship)

- observation of the prescribed number of hours and submission of records from observations (listening hours) for control

- teaching the prescribed number of teaching hours: 28 (24 teaching lessons, 4 lessons of laboratory work / practical exercises) + 1 excursion of which the student can implement 9 lessons in the form of auxiliary work in teaching or in the form of tandem teaching in cooperation with the faculty teacher 

- submission of complete lesson preparations, including worksheets, tests, games, presentations (in electronic version into Google Classroom), etc. (preparations must contain all the requisites) for inspection. Each lesson will be evaluated by students and faculty teacher.

- conducting a biological / science excursion and submitting documents for the excursion, including preparation for the excursion, routes, worksheets and evaluation for inspection

- audio recording of one teaching unit and own analysis of their oral expression

- portfolio of used activation methods, games and applications, projects, evaluation criteria, examples of feedback from pupils

- preparation of every lesson should be gi ven to faculty teacher one day before the lesson starts

- filling in an electronic reflective questionnaire (within a week after the end of the internship)

For binding registration for teaching practice in the winter semester, fill in by 15.6. a table (logging in) shared by Dr. Jelen. Necessary condition for entering the practice I is to complete the observation practice (if you have this obligation in your study plan) !!!
