A 4 days field workshop focuses on application of scientific ecological concepts and ecological approaches in
related fields science and arts. During the workshop we will collect field data on biodiversity and complete them
with data about architecture, landscape and urban structure, and sociological surveys. During the subsequent
analyses we will combine ecological, evolutionary and humanistic approaches to find (i) common and
complementary conceptual tools, (ii) answers to interdisciplinary questions and (iii) solutions to issues at the
borders between pure research, human creativity and sustainable co-existence of nature and humans. The
workshop will be jointly organized by Faculty of Science, Charles University; Faculty of Architecture, Czech
Technical University in Prague; Faculty of Environmental Sciences, Czech University of Life Sciences and Archip,
International University College of Architecture.

Day 1 - Lectures about topics being investigated, discussions on the topics and their inter-relations, development of methodological approaches and creation of working teams and groups.

Day 2 - Field and other data (on-line resources) collection, their elaboration and analyses, discussions about the results, approaches and the first insights.

Day 3 - Field and other data (on-line resources) collection, their elaboration and analyses, discussions about the results, approaches and insights. Preparation of the presentations of the research.

Day 4 - Presentation of the research topics and results, discussion about future perspectives in the field.
