Field couse complementing lecture "Physiological ecology of phytoplankton" is focused on practical demonstration of methods measuring physiological processes in phytoplankton. Course includes sampling and sample treatment, underwater light measurements, photosynthesis and primary production, fluorescence analysis.

Terénní praktikum k přednášce Fyziologická ekologie fytoplanktonu je zaměřeno na praktickou demonstraci metod stanovení vybraných fyziologických procesů fytoplanktonu. Praktikum zahrnuje odběr vzorků a práci s nimi, například měření intenzity světla, fotosyntézy, primární produkce, fluorescenční analýzy.

Odběr vzorků a manipulace s nimi, uspořádání měření in situ, principy měření intenzity světla ve vodě, fotosyntéza a primární produkce, srovnání vývoje fotosyntetického kyslíku a fluorescenční analýzy, experimentální vybavení pro stanovení fotosyntézy - křivky ozáření. Ekofyziologické důsledky jednotlivých parametrů fotosyntetické aktivity.
