Field couse complementing lecture "Physiological ecology of phytoplankton" is focused on practical demonstration of methods measuring physiological processes in phytoplankton. Course includes sampling and sample treatment, underwater light measurements, photosynthesis and primary production, fluorescence analysis.

of underwater light measurements, photosynthesis and primary production,

comparison of photosynthetic oxygen evolution and fluorescence analysis,

experimental equipment for determination of photosynthesis - irradiation curves.
