This advanced laboratory course is aimed at study of cell organization of the main groups of parasitic protozoa, determination of protozoan parasites and training in special laboratory techniques used in protozoology research and in diagnosis of infections caused by parasitic protozoa. The course includes practical microscopy, interpretation of electronmicrographs, and training in isolation, preparation and in vitro cultivation of parasitic protozoa.
