Major fungal pathogens including Candida and thermally dimorphic species. Topics include: innate and adaptive immunity, nutritional immunity and host cell metabolism as well as fungal virulence factors (including phenotypic switching and filamental growth), circumvention of immunity and nutritional immunity, stress responses and methods of studying transcriptomic, proteomic and metabolomic changes in pathogens and their hosts.
