The aims of the course Philosophy as a Way of Learning are: to understand the education profession from the philosophical point of view, characterize various tendencies in education, analyze the importance and trends of various education systems, and make informed choices regarding the most pertinent education methods.

Written exam - presentation (with minimum six slides) + essay (4 pages - on the same topic as presentation), to upload in moodle course. In the essay, students should try to answer these questions: What is philosophy? What is education? What is the philosophy of education? (These questions should be like a background in each essay. Choose the topic of the essay from the content of the subject. Each essay should have a minimum of one source from the basic or recommended bibliography.

Minimal requirements, prerequisites, conditions for selection and enrolment of students: Students can use the internet for MS Teams video meetings, have English as a spoken language - minimum level: B1 - "Can understand the main points of clear standard input on familiar matters regularly encountered in work, school, leisure, etc. Can deal with most situations likely to arise whilst travelling in an area where the language is spoken. Can produce simple connected text on topics which are familiar or of personal interest. Can describe experiences and events, dreams, hopes & ambitions and briefly give reasons and explanations for opinions and plans."
