The course explores the range of forms through which literary works "confront" faith and experience of God, articulate them artistically, and
reflects. The focus of the course is a shared close reading of two selected authors per semester: emphasis is on
capturing the dynamics of the emergence and dissemination of each impulse into the cultural and social milieu of the time.

  2. Active participaption: You are expected to actively participate in the lecture sessions.

  3. Passing an oral exam: You need to successfully pass an oral exam.

For credit (zápočet), you need to additionally fulfill the following requirement:

  1. Reading list: You must read a total of 6 plus 6 compulsory items during the two semesters.

  2. Active participation in the lecture: Similar to the Examination requirement, you must actively participate in the lecture sessions.
