The objective of the examination is to test the doctoral student´s ability to comprehend and discuss an academic text related to his/her research in both oral and written forms.

Students should prepare the following:

1. 100 pages of academic text (approved by the teacher beforehand)

2. A written summary of the text (3-5 pages)

3. Description of their dissertation project (3 pages)

4. CV

Alternatively, the requirements 1 and 2 can be substituted by an academic article written by the student in English either published or prepared for publication in a relevant academic journal.

During the exam, students will discuss the aforementioned materials with the teacher.
