The seminar will be treat to the topic of changes in early modern society. Within the course we will get acquainted with the typical social strata of the periods of the early modern age and their development during the Renaissance and Baroque (with an overlap to the Middle Ages and the Enlightenment). The seminar will be held in Czech.

The aim of the course is to get acquainted with the composition and development trends in the society of the early modern period, especially the Renaissance and Baroque periods.

There are no specific entrance requirements for the seminar on the history of the European early modern period, with the exception of at least a basic historical overview of the history of this period, the basics of working with specialist texts and sources (in Czech translation).
