The course focused on the philosophical reflection of human being and related topics as person, mind (soul) and body, cognition and action. I tis divided into following topics:
1. Person (Ethical importance of "person", Ontological concept, Psychological concept, Sociological concept of the person, Critical reflection)
2. Soul and Body (Naturalistic reductionism, Non-reductive concepts, Dualism of principles, Substantial dualism, Critical reflection)
3. Sensitive and Intellectual Life (Cognitive and appetitive powers, Sensual knowledge, Intellectual knowledge, Emotions, Will)
4. Freedom (Libertarianism, Strict determinism, Compatibilism, Agent causation, Two concepts of freedom)
5. Other topics (human being as an animal, problem of transcendence)

The aim of the course is to introduce students to basic anthropological concepts and problems, to provide basic orientation in the field.
