The aim of the seminar is to introduce students to both popular and professional media in the field of visual arts in the Czech Republic. Czech Republic and abroad. They will get to know practically the creation and subsequent production of an art magazine, which they will also
They will prepare the artwork themselves. Emphasis will be placed primarily on the genre of popular educational text, book and exhibition reviews, and the feuilleton, survey, and interview. Cover design, graphics, illustrations, and artwork for the issue. The issues of financing the magazine, advertising, language, and authorship will not be left aside. proofreading, typesetting, pre-press preparation, printing and distribution. The course also includes two excursions to a leading Czech publishing house and the editorial office of a fine arts magazine.
