The course allows for a broader exegetic and theological view based on the interpretation of individual pericopes, rather than an introduction to bachelor study, focusing on selection of texts from the Torah and deuteronomical history.

The exam consists of a written test over a period of 60 minutes. Approximately seven detailed questions will be asked to demonstrate the depth of both the exetic and theological perspective of the candidate. Six questions will come from exegesis, one from the Papal Bible Commission document "The Jewish People and Their Sacred Scriptures in the Christian Bible", Part II, Section B.

Zkouška se skládá formou písemného testu v časovém rozsahu 60 minut. Bude položeno cca sedm detailních otázek, jež prokáží hloubku jak exetického, tak teologického pohledu kandidáta. Šest otázek bude z odpřednášených exegezí, jedna otázka z témat z dokumentu Papežské biblické komise "Židovský národ a jeho svatá Písma v křesťanské Bibli", část II., oddíl B.

4. Konflikt Josefa, (otce) a bratří ve světle analýzy Gn 37.

5. Deuteronomický kodex (Dt 12-26) jako ukázka uspořádání legislativy, odraz teologie i společenských poměrů doby. 

6. David a Saul: předehra v 1Sam 16.

7. David a Saul: konfrontace dvou druhů vlády v zápasu s Goliášem v 1Sam 17.

8. David a Saul: střet dvou pomazaných v 1Sam 18-26.

9. David a Saul: závěr: David u Pelištějců a Saulův konec v 1Sam 27-31.
