The course introduces students into the basic principles and methods of public policy analysis.
Aim of the course -

On completion of the course, the student should be able:

  • Understand the development and current state of policy analysis.
  • Understand the process of policy analysis and to describe its different phases.
  • Formulate and argue own stance towards the ethical, normative and institutional aspects of policy analysis.
  • Formulate public policy problem in a way it can be effectively dealt with.
