The course is in Czech in winter semester (starting in October) and in English in summer semester (starting in February) .

Course for non-sociological branches of study try to show sociological style of thinking.
Requirements for exam:
1) Essay approx. 2 pages long. It has to be original (i.e. most of idea are not copied). The topic for essay is: The current society is….


2) Written test 2 parts:
a) discussion of selected text from Massey (see above), understanding to the text and description by sociological terms (0-8 points)
b) description of 6 sociological terms from Giddens textbook (0-12 points)

Total grading: 0-20 points (4, FAIL); 21-26 points (3), 27-33 (2), 34-40 (1)

V průběhu kurzu plní průběžnou povinnost ((wikiheslo/minivýzkum/úvaha), termín odevzdání - nejpozději 11.12.2023 12:00) a zakončen je písemnou zkouškou. Výsledek ze zkoušky bude v SIS UK zaznamenán nejdříve 7 pracovních dní po odevzdání wikihesla.

Alternativa k wikiheslu (výzkumné šetření či úvaha) bude zadána společně se specifikací wikihesel (24.10.).
Test: 15 otázek po 2 bodech (min. nutno získat 15 bodů, jinak test nutno opakovat), wikiheslo (4 body prémie max.). Výsledek dle testu: stupnice A-F.
