The aim of the seminar is to introduce the students to basic information techniques and procedures and skills of an independent information collection and processing with the use of libraries, web pages and other information sources.

Cílem kurzu je seznámit studenty se základními pravidly odborné práce s informacemi a motivovat je k osvojení těchto zásad prostřednictvím praktických cvičení. Studenti se naučí vyhledávat a následně zpracovávat informace, orientovat se v informačních institucích, využívat všechny dostupné informační zdroje. Takto získané poznatky využít při zpracovávání seminárních prací a diplomových prací. Součástí kurzu jsou metody technické a formální úpravy rukopisu.

The course will help students to get the knowleadge of basic rules (concerning special informations) while working with (these) information. The course is based on practical lessons. Students will learn to search for informations, to orientate in (informatic institutions) and will be able to use all current informatic resourses. The course will help students to prepare seminars works and dissertations. In the course are included the methods of technic form of manuscript.
