Problems of research of the relationship between state and church, formal and real separation.

Major religions vs. minority religions, impacts on politics.

Religious identity and political identity, religion as a part of national identity.

Churches as interest groups.

Religious parties, conservative parties.

Religion and modernity.

Secularization, what it means and how to research and measure it.

Political religions.
