The course is designed for all students who want to improve their language skills in French, especially in the field of understanding specific vocabulary (French history) and authentic written, audio and audiovisual materials. The course is held in French only.

Kurz je určen studentům, kteří si chtějí zdokonalit své jazykové kompetence ve francouzském jazyce, především v oblasti porozumění specifické slovní zásobě (francouzské dějiny) a autentickým psaným, audio i audiovizuálním materiálům. Výuka probíhá výhradně ve francouzštině.

Our aim is to develop an understanding of spoken and written French in authentic texts; To be able to capture the main information and to summarize it briefly; To acquire and expand the vocabulary related to French history; To improve communication skills; To perceive events in context and enhance critical thinking.

Rozvíjet porozumění mluvenému i psanému slovu autenických dokumentů; být schopen postihnout hlavní informace a umět je krátce shrnout.
Osvojit si a rozšířit slovní zásobu z oblasti francouzské historie, zlepšit své komunikační dovednosti.
Dokázat vnímat události v souvistech, rozvíjet svoje kritické myšlení.

Required level of French language at least B1+, B2 and higher, the course will be held only in French. Students of all study fields can enroll in the course.
