This course is a continuation of the course JLB029 and is designed for students of all the study disciplines offered at the FSV UK. The course aims to enlarge the vocabulary of general as well as specialized nature, solidify grammar structures and improve communication skills. Upon completion of the course the students are expected to be on the B2+/C1 level (https://fsv.cuni.cz/studium/vyuka-jazyku/hodnoceni-jazykove-dovednosti).

The course aims to solidify language skills of the students. Students are going to read long texts in Spanish of general as well as specialized nature. Upon completion of the course students should be able to discuss academic texts and summarize them in verbal as well as written form.

Teaching is based on working with text and authentic recordings, which serve as a basis for practice of understanding and development of speaking skills. The selection of texts is given by the theme and is related to the grammatical subject.

PREREQUISITES TO OBTAIN THE EXAM CREDIT FOR THE CLASS: 

- Midterm Practical Assignment (20b.)

- Homework and class participation (15b.)

- Presentation (15b.)

- Writing and Oral test (50b.)

 

Final exam:

- Prove the knowledge of extensive vocabulary related to the topics covered during the winter and summer semester
- ability to lead dialogues on a given topic

 

Evaluation:

0-50 % = F

51-60 % = E

61-70 % = D

71-80 % = C

81-90 % = B

91 % and more = A

A - outstanding performance with only minor errors, B - above the average standard but with some errors, C - generally sound work with a number of notable errors, D - fair but with significant shortcomings, E - performance meets the minimum criteria, F - fail – considerable further work is required

Lekce 2, 6, 4 (Aula Internacional Plus 5) + odborná temata: na začátku kurzu bude provedena analýza potřeb a preferencí studentů za účelem přizpůsobení konkrétního obsahu kurzu.



Unidad 2: actuar en casos de mediación. 

Recursos comunicativos: expresar finalidad, expresar intencionalidad, aludir a promesas en estilo indirecto, reclamar el cumplimiento de un compromiso.

Recursos gramaticales: para+infinitivo o subjuntivo, estilo indirecto. 

Recursos léxicos: hablar de conflictos. 

Unidad 6: presentar un evento histórico y sus consecuencias en la historia. 

Recursos comunicativos: valorar hechos pasados, hablar de hechos hipotéticos en el pasado y de sus consecuencias. 

Recursos gramaticales: pretérito pluscuamperfecto de subjuntivo, condicional compuesto, conectores de causa y consecuencia. 

Recursos léxicos: vocabulario del ámbito de la educación, vocabulario de eventos y recorridos vitales. 

Unidad 4: crear una campaña de concienciacion social sobre algún problema global. 

Recursos comunicativos: hacer predicciones sobre el futuro, analizar y exponer problemas globales, sus causas y consecuencias.

Recursos gramaticales: el futuro compuesto, construcciones temporales.

Recursos léxicos: problemas globales, nominalización.
